Welcome to our returning snowbirds.  It's great to have you back.

In a few months Chatham will be electing a new Vice-President and Treasurer for 2009-2010.  Please give some consideration and let Kay Hasson know if you have an interest in one of these positions.  Also, let Joy Lynch know if you are interested in becoming an officer for the Guild.

We will resume working on SUNSHINE QUILTS on September 23rd.

We're having a SOCIAL on September 30th.  We've invited the ladies from Friendship Stars to join us.  Please let Alice Bessler know what goodie you plan on bringing.

September 16th is our CRAYON QUILT class at Chatham.  All you need is a box of crayons and something that will provide a smooth surface to work on.  Judy Hearon will provide the rest.  See Judy to sign up and select the design you would like to work on.

Reminder:  September 25th (Thursday) is the bus trip to QUITFEST in Jacksonville.  I've spoken to the people at Senior Adventures and they have one seat left.  They will take names in the event there is a cancellation.  If interested, contact them at 753-5404.

October 7th is the next evening Guild Meeting.  At that meeting we will be voting on the proposed by-law changes (watch for the proposed changes in an email, later this month).  The program for that evening is the DEMO DERBY.
