July 2009 Newsletter 

Joy Lynch has organized a bus trip to the World Quilt Show in West Palm Beach on November 13-15.  The cost will be approximately $180.  This amount includes your bus, show tickets, 2 hotel nights (based on double occupancy), and driver's tip.  Meals, classes, and purchases are not included (the hotel offers a continental breakfast).  A $154 deposit is due on August 1.  More information about the quilt show (including the classes and instructors) is available if you click on the following website --> www.worldquilt.com  

We need a volunteer to do a 10-minute demo at the October evening meeting Demo Night.  Please consider volunteering. 

UFO Challenge:  The next UFO is #4 on your list.  It should be completed by July 28.

Blotto: Alma still has kits for the July blotto.

Secret Sisters:  Third Tuesday of the month (July 21). 

The next Chatham class is August 4th -- painting on fabric. 

The monthly Guild Meeting is 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7, at Laurel Manor.  The program is a Potluck -- bring a covered dish for 8 people and a wrapped $5 quilting-related item.   Remember to wear your nametags.  The programs planned for the evening meetings for the remainder of the year are as follows:

September - Sew Cherished

October - Demo Night

November - Joan Shay (Petal Play)

December - Christmas Party
