Chatham Quilters September 2009 Newsletter The monthly
Guild Meeting is 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, at Laurel Manor.

The Quilters of Lake Miona have invited Chatham
Quilters to a Social on Tuesday, September 15.
On that day we will meet at Chatham and carpool to Lake Miona.
Additional details will be discussed at our regular weekly meeting. BUS TRIP TO THE WORLD QUILT SHOW IN WEST PALM

Nov. 13-14 (one night instead of two).

need a volunteer to be on the nominating committee for either the Guild or
for Chatham. This year the
terms for Chatham's President and Secretary will expire. September

guests will be the quilters from Mulberry.

It should be completed by September 22. Chatham
Quilters Holiday Party will be on December 15. This
year it will be a catered party. More

8/11/09, Kay informed us that she had been offered $125 for one of the
antique quilts that we have available.
A motion that we accept the offer was made by Marilyn Crosby,
seconded by Alice Besler; all in attendance voted in favor. On
8/25/09, Kay discussed having both a recording secretary and a newsletter
secretary for Chatham. A motion
was made and seconded against creating a second position; all in
attendance voted in agreement. Upcoming

27-October 25, 2009 -- Quilt Exhibit "Rooted in Tradition: Art Quilts
from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum" -- free admission.

Adventures has two bus trips available this year, on Thurs. 9/24 and on Fri.
9/25. $39 covers the bus and admission into the show.
