Terry Mominee is a professional artist who has a stained glass studio with
her husband, Jules. When Terry discovered quilting, she added a second
outlet for her artistic talents.

She shared her quilted creations at the Tuesday, April 13 meeting at
Paradise. The B's invited members of other chapters to enjoy Terry's
quilts. Piecemakers, Laurel Manor and Mulberry members joined the B's.

Self Portrait #1 and Self Portrait #2 used pictures from Terry's childhood
as centers for two of her quilts. She made pencil drawings using the photos
as models and then embellished the designs with other fabrics and paints.
The models were finished with machine quilting using different thread colors
and designs.

Terry is shown holding one of the quilts she created using fabric dyes for
the swirled design. She also showed quilts made with the "color catchers"
from laundering dyed fabrics.
