The date for the Bartow trip (cabin girls) has been changed to Dec 4. Those going will meet at Sea Breeze at 12:15 PM.
October 11
The quilt trolley will be at the Hampton Inn.
Quilter's Dream in Leesburg is closing.
Alice will be the new guild president. Carol and Judy will continue as treasurer and secretary. Brenda is stepping down as Vice President next year.
The raffle quilt is almost finished.
October 18
The Quilting Sister's Guild in Leesburg has invited us to attend a meeting. It is held the 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:30.
A card for a long arm quilter is in the book.
There are photos on the board of the girls at the cabin.
Belk's sale will give a $5 coupon to Brenda's sorority. They send $25 to each girl at the cabin on her birthday.
We have to design the end panel for Sea Breeze for the 2013 quilt show.
Nominations for 2012 president were held. They are: Sheddy Reese (president) and Maureen Mitchell (vice president).
October 25
Out to lunch today is at the Mexican restaurant at Colony Plaza.
Carol is collecting dues. She needs these before Dec 1. Only about 50% have been collected so far.
Alice brought forms to sign up for the Sewing Expo in February.
Mary Ann - Eric Drexler from Sulky will be at the Nov 1 guild meeting. Thread Jazz for Quilting and Embellishing is the topic.
Suzy - we will try to show the completed quilt top at the guild meeting.
Mary Ann requested cash to cover the paper goods that she has purchased for the December Guild party.
The Sea Breeze Christmas party will be on December 13th.
