SEA BREEZE CHAPTER MINUTES: NOVEMBER 2011
November 8
On Monday, Nov 14th, ASG is having an indoor flea market at the Oxford Community Center (County Road 306). 10 AM - 1 PM
The Guild received an email from Thomas E. Langley Medical Center - they need baby quilts for newborns and new mothers.
Another charity needing quilts, etc - Central Healthy Start in Sumterville
Tie One On: Giving Thanks with Aprons - November 23 - make an apron with baked goods to give to a neighbor. Website: www.weallsew.com
We need to decorate our black panel for the Showcase 2013 and the black background cloths need to be finished.
Anne S. - Bus trip Friday to Suwannee Valley Quilt Shop - they are working on a demo for us. If we don't get enough to fill the bus it will cost $3 - $4 more pp. Bus leaves at 8:30 and returns around 4:30.
The Guild is offering some new classes for next year - sign up early.
November 29th - we will put together the goodie bags for the cabin girls. Bring gifts for these.

Introduction of new member Anne Morgan.
We are collecting $$ for paper goods for the Guild Christmas party (Dec 6 at 6:30PM at Laurel Manor). There will be a special program and installation of new officers.
We need to report to the Guild concerning our charity work for the year (2011).
Do we want to adopt a sister chapter? Possibly Sterling Stitchers. We could share project ideas and get together with them and serve refreshments.
The Daily Sun was here to document the filling of the goodie bags.

Barb Connolly has volunteered to organize quilt camp for 2013.
Will we continue the Sunshine Cabin project for next year.
