Quilting Guild of The Villages (QGOTV)

The Quilting B's made placemats, using the Take Four pattern, mixing four fat-quarter fabrics to create coordinating placemats. There is a group picture with our finished products.

We joined the Piecemakers for a brunch on November 5th and brought our Show and Tell projects to share. There are several pictures from that event. [See link above and look under Piecemakers, for more]

We are taking a bus trip to Rockledge on November 19th and there are still some spaces left. If you are interested in going, call Jeanine Haller at 753-2813.

The group project for December will be pillowcases. December 3 please bring ¾ yard of fun fabric, ¼ yd of complimentary for the top edge and 4" of an accent for the little strip between the pillowcase and the top edge. Sewing machines and sewing equipment will also be needed.

We will donate our charity quilts to The Haven on November 12. We voted to not sponsor a family this Christmas. We will make a cash donation to The Infants and Toddlers Closet.

The Quilting B's presented 46 quilts to The Haven on November 12. Ann Eggleston, Vice-Chairman of the board for The Haven, visited us at Paradise Rec Center to accept the donation (photo linked in, above)
