Carolyn Heald started the meeting at 9:00 by introducing visitors, announcing birthdays; refreshments and the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order at 9:15.
The Secretary's report was read and motion was made by Patty R and seconded by Lynn H.
The Treasurer's report was read and Filed for Review by Dale A.
The Vice President announced that the Winter Garden Quilt Shop had moved and that the Chapter would have the garage sale on April 10
Executive Board report was made by Dale A: Pat K, Eleanor Burns' sister will be at the Bridgeport Rec center on April 17th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. ; name tags are available for $10.00 See Carol Knoll in Dale's absence
Questions regarding Showcase 2013 should go through Ann M
Guild meetings - cannot get in before 6:30
Guild still needs a historian
Patty R. will be helping Pat W with the newsletter
Librarian's report, Barbara, will order new books and will have a book sale at the end of April or in May, proceeds to benefit the library
Refreshments - Cindy Work - need assistance for September, October and November
There will be no meeting on November 6th due to elections
Charity Quilts will be made on May 8, 15 and 22, subject to change
Sign up sheet for machines will be made available
Will have pre-cut pieces
The Chapter received 8 king size batts from Fairfield
Fat quarters won by Lois, Bobbie and Betty
Quilters Showcase raffle tickets are available - $5 per pack. The quilt has been appraised at $2,025

Newsletter correction: Donna does not have the Charity quilt labels - Sheila Smith has them
