The meeting was started at 9:03 by Carolyn Heald, President with birthday announcements and refreshments.
The meeting was called to order at 9:24 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Donna Blodgett read the Secretary's report'; accepted by Joan Henry and seconded by Lynn Heipershausen.
Carol Knoll presented the Treasurer's report was read and file for review.
Tonia Brock, Vice President announced:
- There would be a demo of the Guild web site on July 17th
- Seabreeze Quilters donated a scrap bag that will be given to the person who sells the most raffle tickets for the Quilt Show. The bag is stuffed with 5 1 yard pieces of fabric
- November 6 is the shop hop bus trip - the cost is $23 per person, and that there will be no meeting that day as it is election day - trip will go to The Quilt Shop of Deland and the Bird's Nest in Ormond Beach.
- The business meeting will be November 13
Fat quarters were won by: Lucie Verbois, Di Cook and Pat Wallace
Barbara Morse, Librarian will put out Christmas books next week. She will be removing non-active books from the library and have them available for sale at the January Guild Garage Sale.
Gift basket was won by Ann Moroz.
Blotto won by Carol Knoll. July's blotto was presented by Mary Ann Pankowski
Maryann Burke won the UFO $ and next quarter's UFO is #1 - due the first week of October
Beautiful quilts and quilted items were displayed.
