Alice - Marketplace was very successful. Please give any feedback to Alice.
Captiva chapter - the first chapter south of 466A. If you know anyone who wants to join Alice will be there Feb 7th.
Brenda -she will order shirts and nametags ($6). Alternate style shirts (with buttons) can be purchased at Custom Apparel for $30.
Sheddy - guild quilt challenge is log cabin. At Feb meeting you can purchase a kit ($5 - get it back if quilt is entered in the showcase).
Brenda handed out packets for camp.
Carol Schroeder is the co chairperson for Showcase 2013.

Sunset Pointe is sponsoring a trip to Paducah quilt show April 23-28; 5 days/$579 (single).
Quilt entry forms are available. You are encouraged to do this.
Mary Ann has posted two lists for guild meeting topics and classes (also check the web).
Sheddy - needs two volunteers to coordinate raffle ticket sales. She also needs everyone's idea for charities to benefit from sale of raffle tickets.

Fill out release forms for retreat and cards with health information (for under sewing machine.
Classes offered by guild are on the bulletin board.
Tonight is the Guild meeting.
Barb Connolly - needs volunteers to make La Boursa bags out of fabric left over from the raffle quilt.

Sheddy - Gay needs someone to make a quilt label. Leesburg quilt shop - fabric for sale at owner's house. Feb 18th.
October guild class - Margie Engel (national teacher). Two workshops - Oct 2 (12 - 3 PM) and Oct 3 (10AM - 1PM) - Applique; focus on large prints ($25 kit)
Joann's is having a notions sale - we need to come up with ideas of what to purchase for our chapter.
Carol Windle - we have $1,148.38 in our treasury.
A new quilt shop opened in May (Hernando - route 200 - Sew and Sew

Bette has done an inventory of our Accuquilt dies. Our chapter will purchase more of these. Carol Windle purchased two cutting mats and rulers.

There is a quilt show in Ocala - Feb 25 and 26 - Belleview Quilters
Thursday is the Quilting and Sewing Expo in Lakeland (bus trip).
Anne Sobicinski - a new quilt shop has opened in Orange City.

Marketplace net profit was $11,407 - goes into general fund. One purchase is hanging system for quilts for Showcase 2013.
Chance Drawing sales for the Charity Quilt 2012 have brought in $837 - tickets will be ready for sale in March.
Vote today for your choice of charity for the raffle proceeds.
Operation Shoebox needs donated material if you are cleaning out your stash.
Suzy - suggested we have our own garage sale or Chinese auction. April 3rd was decided as the date for this - we will have both.
Pat Knoechel (Eleanor Burn's sister) is coming to the Villages on Tuesday April 17th from 10 AM - 12 PM. Place TBD.
March 6th classes - two different purses - knitted with fabric (Carol Wood) and Vera Bradley type (Nancy McPeek).

Alice celebrated her anniversary at Disney princess style. Also final payment is due for the retreat (Alice is collecting this.)
