1. Betty Heninger, now widowed, made this very large quilt for her husband Tom in 1993 for his 70th birthday. The wagon wheel represents his ancestors' walk from Illinois to Salt Lake City. The Sego Lily, Sea Gull, Delectable Mountains, Ogden Corners, and Honey Bee are blocks representing growing up in Ogden Utah. The airplane and train blocks represent his careers in the Army Air Force and railroading. Names and birthdates of four children are included, and the names of five soon-to-be five greats will be added to the 14 grandchildren's names.
2. Mary Ann Wood, our new president, shared this vintage quilt made by her grandmother along with several other family quilted heirlooms.
3. Beth Landas shared one of her newest projects, a quilt with four complicated star motifs.
