President Judy Ozbun called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Secretary's Report - The minutes of the February 21 meeting were approved.
Treasurer's Report - Sally Rowe gave a full report of Patchwork Garden's budget.
Upcoming Patchwork Garden Events
April 15 Fabric Swap - Bring a half-yard of fabric with the color GREEN in it and Yankee swap will be played to redistribute the fabrics.
April 15 Meeting - Fifteen Minute Table Runner. Instructor: Arlene Reed. Jo De Candia e-mailed directions to members.
April 26 Shop Hop -- Pat Bruce and Carol Browning informed the club that the hop will take place on Friday, April 26. They will provide details about the big adventure at next week's meeting.
May 6 Meeting - No-Sew Bouquet. Instructor: Judy Ozbun.
May 11 Retreat - The next all-day retreat will be held on Saturday, May 11.
November 4 Meeting - Feather Fancy Wreath. Instructor: Pat Power.
Summer Project - The chapter's summer project subject will be flowers. Members may make any size project that has one or more flowers in it. The big reveal will be at the Christmas Party.
Quilting Guild of The Villages Cruise - A Royal Caribbean cruise is planned for March 8 - 14, 2014. Marie Anderson and Mary Engle will be featured instructors.
New Business
Co-signer of checking account - Penny Gibson will be added as a cosigner to Patchwork Garden's checking account.
Secretary - Micki MacCumbee volunteered to serve as acting secretary during Sharon Symanovich's absence.
2015 Quilt Show - The members discussed the options for our service at the next Quilt Show. We decided our Chapter's preferences are Judging 1st choice, Angels 2nd choice, Ribbons 3rd choice.
Charity Quilts - Judy Ozbun volunteered to track charity quilt donations this year.
Show and Tell - Sally Rowe and Doris Hulse showed charity quilts. Micki MacCumbee showed dolls her friend made.
