Events
Mark your calendars for these exciting events:
Monday Activities and Saturday Retreat
- July 29, "5th Monday Project." Bring your UFOs to work on or get fabric from the Chapter's stash and get started on your next charity quilt.
- August 10, All Day Quilting Retreat at Lake Miona Recreation Center.
- August 19, "3rd Monday Fabric Swap." Bring a half-yard of Brown fabric and we'll play Yankee swap.
Officers
- President. Kathy Howe has volunteered to serve as Chapter president when she returns in the fall. Thanks Kathy!
- Vice President. Our group needs a volunteer to serve as vice president. The duties of vice president are light. The VP's job is to substitute during the president's absence by attending the monthly Guild meeting and reporting news back to our Chapter.
- Program Chair. Patchwork Garden needs one or many hands to serve as chair or co-chairs to line up Chapter activities.
Summer Project
Remember to work on your summer project. The theme is floral. We will have a show and tell of our summer projects at our famous Christmas party!
Wreath Pattern
Shirley Larsen has wreath patterns for those who placed an order. We will work on the wreaths at the November retreat if the room is available.
Tips
Shirley Larsen said Sharky's in Wildwood repaired her vacuum cleaner and it looks and works like new.
Show and Tell
Delaine Koonce, Carol Planck, Norma Swartz and Pat Wooten presented their projects. Check out our website for photos of our show-and-tell masterpieces. http://www.qgotv.org/CH_Patchwork_Garden.html
