Old Business
The Long Range Planning Committee has established a Communications Committee which will meet August 1st at Hibiscus Recreation Center (9:30-11:30 a.m). Any member interested in joining this committee is welcome to attend.
President Bender announced that the Guild's proposed revisions to the Bylaws have been sent to all Chapter Presidents to share with their members. Voting will take place at the August Guild meeting. The major change to the Bylaws is the Guild will have two vice presidents, each serving a two-year term. During the first year of the term of the newly elected 2nd VP will plan and contract the programs for the following year. The second year of the term, the 2nd VP will become the 1st VP and will execute the programs s/he planned and also coordinate the in-house classes. The Executive Board will recommend a candidate for the 2nd VP to serve for the remainder of 2014 and that name will be presented to the membership at the August meeting. In the future, a 2nd VP will be elected each year, beginning with the November 2014 elections.
Sharon Musch reported on the Showcase of Quilts. Everything is going fine, all chapters are represented and members were reminded to look at the Guild website for information on guidelines for the boutique, silent auction and quilt show.
New Business
Dale Angione reported that due to inability to obtain an insurance rider, quilts by local quilters cannot be displayed during the upcoming event at Stetson Mansion in Deland. They will have the Downton Abbey trunk show quilts.

Jill covered the upcoming programs and reminded the members that school supplies will be collected at the August and September Guild meetings. In the future, catered lunches from Too Jay's will be available on class days for $7 with a gluten free option available.
Tonight's program theme was Girls Night Out and the members enjoyed an ice cream social provided by Ollie's Frozen Custard.

There were seven 50/50 winners and one nametag winner.
