The regular meeting of the QGOTV was held Tuesday September 3, 2013 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center
The meeting was called to order by president Alice Nicholas at 7:00 p.m.
Instead of a regular meeting, it was DEMO night! Seventeen Guild members representing the Guild's 14 chapters, demonstrated a 'quick project'. The projects were repeatedly demo'd as Guild members went from table to table, checking out these great projects. A wonderful time was had by all.
Between 6:00-7:00 p.m., the Guild's In-House Teachers were on site to describe their classes. Guild members were asked to bring donations for a local school to help teachers and students with needed supplies not generally funded by the schools.
Special drawings were held for the demonstrators, Guild teachers, and school donations as well regular drawings for name tag, Show-n-Tell, and 50/50.
The meeting was closed with the thought that another DEMO Night should be scheduled.
