The regular meeting of the QGOTV was held Tuesday October 1, 2013 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center
The meeting was called to order by President Alice Nicholas at 7:00 p.m.
After members recited the Pledge of Allegiance, President Nicholas welcomed the members and recognized guests present.
President Nicholas announced that the newest chapter, Big Cypress, has 19 members. Several members of Big Cypress were in attendance.
The Secretary's Report was accepted as read.
Judy Porter from the nominating committee announced there were two candidates for the Guild President and Guild Treasurer. Beth Bender, the candidate for President, read her resume and Joyce McKee read Teresa Hatfield's resume as Teresa was out of town.
The guest speakers were Teresa Ward and Sharon Lorfing who gave a very informative slide show on Mystery Quilts.
There were nine show-and-tell participants, four name-tag winners and six 50/50 winners.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
